Satellite Navigation Points of Interest Files

These POI files have been created for users of the most popular satellite navigation systems. They contain the locations of all cricket clubs in the Northumberland and Tyneside Senior Cricket League for the 2010 Season, along with a small icon (in the form of a set of cricket stumps). I have almost completed POI files for all of the county cricket clubs. These will be uploaded when I have a minute spare. 

Download one of the files at the bottom of this page, depending on your SatNav manufacturer, by clicking on the link and saving the file on your computer. The file is a tiny (2KB) zip archive, containing the POI file and a cricket icon. 

You will need to extract these two files and copy them to your SatNav device, probably by connecting the SatNav to your PC using the software that came with it. 

For TomTom devices the two files need to go in the map directory on the TomTom (the directory will probably have Great Britain somewhere in the name).

I am not familiar with the Garmin and Navman satellite navigation systems, but there are links below to help you with their range of devices.
